Marie-Claire Schlameus performs using amplified Cello, Voice, and electronics within toechter and 𝚂𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙾𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜. As a composer, she is signed to publishing company Random Noize Musick

She increasingly works as an electronic-experimental Cellist and vocalist, mixing contemporary techniques, improvisation, with the approach to live sound, through digital loopers, chorus, delays, and harmonizers. She records music for film, TV, writes for dance ensembles, and moves between roles of performer, producer, and composer. As a side musician, she performed with Agnes Obel, Casper, Bright Eyes, Tricky, Gyða Valtýsdóttir, The Cinematic Orchestra/Manu Delago, Thundercat, The CAN Project (Babelsberg Filmorchester). In the studio, she recorded with Agnes Obel, Tricky (KEXP LIVE SESSION), Ólafur Arnalds, Swans, and Babelsberg Filmorchestra.

MC is using her specific sound between acoustic cello and effects in her arrangements. As a producer, she uses the lyrical and the percussive range of the violoncello and adds voice textures and effects to it. She records at her home studio and is very familiar with recording and editing strings for Film composers and Bands.
